Portrait of Heydar Aliyev - on AZN
There is a tendency - if at a meeting of Parliament’s session speaks a Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling party "Yeni Azerbaijan" Siyavush Novruzov, his words either materialize or are subject to public discussion. At today's plenary session of the Milli Mejlis he made a surprise proposal to change the design of the national currency - manat. "On the bill of the highest worth should be a portrait of Heydar Aliyev. In Turkey, on the national currency is printed the portrait of Ataturk, on the dollar are printed the fathers-founders of the United States, in Russia - portraits of all the kings. Therefore, a portrait of Heydar Aliyev should certainly be on the banknotes," he said. --17D-
