Proportion of Mobile Telecom Operator Services Reduced
The segment of Information and Communication Technologies earned 251.6 million manats by March 1 (+ 7.7% as compared to January-February of last year).
According to State Statistics Committee, the most active were the local private enterprise communications and mail (80.3%). Moreover, almost three quarters (71.5%) of the consumer services accounted for individuals - the amount was at the level of AZN 179.8 million (minus 2.4%)..
In physical terms, the leaders are mobile operators (Azercell Telecom, Bakcell and Azerfon) - for two months they provided 48.6% of all services in the amount of 122.2 million AZN, although their ability decreased by 10.7% in comparison with January-February of last year. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
