Rates of customs duties for the examination of goods determined
The Cabinet of Ministers approved on September 5 the fees for customs examination of goods at the initiative of the declaring persons, in connection with the customs control and clearance.
In total they identified 34 types of expertise, the implementation of which will cost the owner of goods from 5 to 125 manat. For example, examination of the composition of goods is estimated at AZN 50, and learning the date of manufacture costs 5 manat. Maximum amount of customs fees for the examination of goods is set to determine the levels of pesticides in food and water.
Rates of customs duties for the examination of goods come into force 30 days after the publication of the decree by the Cabinet of Ministers. - 08D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
