Rosneft could buy new oil and gas assets in 2014
Rosneft President Igor Sechin did not rule out that the company could buy new oil and gas assets in 2014, he told the journalists at a press conference last week.
“The company had an organic growth, but we will consider all possible options, which will be presented,” Sechin said when asked about purchase of new assets.
Rosneft President also added that the company will have enough oil resources for 17 years and gas resources for 31 years.
He added that in 2013 Rosneft will increase the dividend payments by 50% up to 120 billion rubles. The profitability of securities will constitute 5%, Sechin added.
Rosneft has concluded agreements with Norwegian Statoil, Italian Eni and US ExxonMobil, according to which the companies have committed themselves to conduct geological and exploration works in charge of the share in the Arctic shelf projects, reported http://itar-tass.com.--0---
