Share of Private Sector in Export of Goods Increased by 0.4%
Baku / 22.09.17 / Turan: For the first eight months of this year, the private sector of Azerbaijan exported goods for a total of 1 billion 532 million US dollars. This is 27% more than for the same period last year, according to the State Customs Committee.
According to the department, the share of private companies and individuals in the structure of exports of goods for the period amounted to 21.2%. This is 0.4% higher than the figure for January-August 2016.
This year Azerbaijani producers increased the assortment of exported goods by 16.6%. Whereas in the first eight months of last year 2,380 items were exported, this year"s figure is 2,775. -----08D
