Since early year SOCAR exported its gas at $233.40 per 1000 cub.m.
According to the meters, from January to November 2013 6,424,000,000 cub.m. of natural gas was exported from Azerbaijan.
According to the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee, of this volume 2,779,000,000 cub.m. of gas to the amount of $648,646,000 has been exported on the basis of the customs declarations. This means that since early year 1000 cub.m. of gas was sold at an average price of $233.40.
Gas export increased by 15.52% (in money equivalent) against the same period in 2012. By December 1, 2013, the share of gas in total export of the republic constituted 2.95%.
According to the meters, in 2012 6,099,000,000 cub.m. of natural gas was exported from Azerbaijan.
Of this volume 2,714,000,000 cub.m. of gas to the amount of $648,717,000 was exported on the basis of the customs declarations.
At present State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) delivers gas to Russia, Georgia and via Iran for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR).
Gas extracted on the Shah-Deniz field is not declared at the Azerbaijani customs.—0—
