SOCAR Pays Compensation to Families of Dead and Missing Oilmen
SOCAR has started the payment of a lump sum financial assistance in the amount of 15 thousand manats to the families of oilmen, dead and missing as a result of the fire on the platform №10 on the field Guneshli.
Recall that at the time of the accident and fire on December 4 seven people were killed and 23 were lost. Thirty-three oil workers were saved.
Earlier, similar compensation was paid to the families of the three oil workers lost on December 4 from another field - Oil Rocks.
"The process of payment is to be completed within five days," SOCAR said.
In addition to the lump sum assistance, the families of victims and missing people will receive insurance payments in the amount of 80 to 140 thousand manats, depending on the seniority of the employees and the number of their family members. -06D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
