State duties for mobile phones imported by individuals have been canceled
Baku/24.05.22/Turan: On May 23, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed an order to abolish state duties for state registration of mobile devices imported by individuals for personal use. Thus, the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of 2018 on state duties for the registration of mobile devices was canceled.
The state duty for registering a mobile device up to $100 was 20 manats. The state duty for registration of other mobile devices cost from 30 to 150 manats. The fee for mobile phones of the latest models (from $700 and above) was 100-150 manats.
Imported devices must be registered within a month at post offices or online through the Electronic Government portal (e-gov.az) and imei.az website. --02D--

Azerbaijan appears poised for a notable economic shift in 2024, according to projections from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
