State Statistics Committee Recognizes Decline in Employment
The State Statistics Committee, as of 1 December the average wage amounted to 462 manat, as a month earlier. At the beginning of the year, we recall, this figure was 444.3 manat.
However, even the State Statistics Committee recognizes the decline in employment - so that by 1 December in the economy were employed 1.504 million people versus 1,504,700 by November 1, 1,506,300 by October 1, 1,509,800 by September 1 and 1,516,100 by January 1.
By December 1, 877 400 employees were employed in the public sector. --17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
