The average wage in the industry is growing due to oil
The average monthly wage in the industry is close to 600 manats. From January to November last year, the average earnings of industrial workers increased compared to the same period in 2011 by 15% to 598 manat. Oilmen earned per month AZN 800 more than this figure.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-November 2011, the average monthly wage in the public sector for industry (oil, energy, water, chemicals, etc.) increased compared to the same period of 2011 by 16.6% and was 525 manats. In the private sector, industrial enterprises increased wages by an average of 12%. However, in the private sector industrial workers earn more - 694 manat.
According to the SSC, the extractive industry sector workers (36,300 people) in January-November 2012 received an average of 1,398 manats (+18.9%). Despite some growth (+12.4%), the average monthly wage in the manufacturing sector, which employs 48% (82.7 million) of workers of the industrial sector, the average monthly salary is AZN 6 ahead of the average monthly salary of employees in 2012 (391 AZN).
Moreover, in many areas of industrial production, the average monthly fee is still very low. The only manufacturer of tobacco products, European Tobacco Baku, declined last year its wages by 0.7%. Also decreased wages in apparel industry (-1.7%) and metallurgy (-1.4%), which earn an average of respectively 259 and 546 manats a month. In the area of ??food production workers earn an average of 253 (9.1%), drinks - 315 manats (+6%), etc.
It is noteworthy that the least, according to the State Statistics Committee, in 2012, earned jewelers - AZN 240 (+24.6%) and employees of the production of electrical equipment - 239 manat (-5.6%). -08B-
