The dollar reached 1.6062 manat
The Azerbaijani Central Bank set the dollar exchange rate to manat on August 11 at the level of 1.6062 manats per US dollar. Official exchange rate of Euro is also growing in dense closer to the psychological level of 1.80 AZN. However, commercial banks are already selling the dollar at 165 manat, while the euro - for 1.85 manat. The increase of the dollar and the euro has already lasted for six weeks. -02D-

The Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan reported that as of the first half of 2024, the country's state debt amounted to 25 billion manats, which corresponds to 21% of its Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
