Baku/27.01.14/Turan : In 2013, the number of enterprises and organizations in Azerbaijan rose by 8.9% and exceeded 86 thousand
Approximately every fourth entry in the register statistics new entity , has announced its intention to work in the trade and repair of vehicles , construction - 9.3% , processing industry - 4 %, etc. , the State Statistics Committee told Turan .
As of 1st January 2014 the share of enterprises with foreign capital (6522 ) accounts for 7.6 % of the commercial and non-profit entities. The share of companies with Turkish capital is 34 % , UK - 9.9% , Russia - 7.3% , Iran - 5.8 %, U.S. - 3.9 %, Germany - 2.4% , etc. .
Number of state enterprises , taking into account the organizations of the state apparatus than 9 thousand And with the municipalities themselves ( 1718 ) refers to municipal ownership of all 1758 companies and organizations.
In 2013, 395 companies were liquidated , including state-owned - 29, private local - 309, foreign - 48, and joint - 9. The main part of them (264) were liquidated in Baku.
According to estimates of State Statistics, 80.5 % of the operating companies are classified as small businesses.
Azerbaijan businessmen prefer to do business without creating a legal entity. Reporting ( financial, tax , etc.) in this case is more simplified . Such entities in the country are over 454,000. - 08B-
