One of the likely candidates for the post of PACE is a parliamentarian from Luxembourg Ann Brassor.
According to the tradition, the post of head of PACE is alternately occupied by representatives of various political groups in the Assembly. And according to these rules, the Alliance of the Liberal Democrats nominated Brassor.
But this time also nominated is the British MP Robert Walter filed as head of the European Democrat Group .
The agenda also includes discussions on the urgent situation in Ukraine .
Also scheduled are performances by Werner Faymann, Austrian Federal Chancellor , currently presiding in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe , as well as Speaker of the European Parliament , Martin Schulz .
