Thirteen vocational training centers created on the basis of 32 vocational schools
On 11 October the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a decree on rationalization the network of enterprises of primary vocational education in Baku and Ganja.On the basis of united 32 professional schools were established 13 vocational training centers with the status of the Lyceum. New vocational schools will focus on the specialties required in the fields of railway, construction, industry, shipbuilding industry, culture, tourism, ICT, catering, etc. It should be noted that prior to this in Azerbaijan, there were 113 schools of initial vocational training. In April 2016 in order to enhance the effectiveness of training in primary special vocational training was established the State Agency for Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education. --08D—
