This week, banks are waiting 84 lawsuits
Banks of Azerbaijan actively sue their customers. Just this week May 31, inclusive, it is planned to examine 84 claims.
The main essence of the claims - non-payment of loans by customers, including the "coming up" interest, escalating debt accumulated in the collateral, the termination of the contract period. There are claims of clients and employees (including former) in respect of banking institutions.
The leader this week on the number of claims Bank Technique (eight, four of which are under the old name of "Texnikabank"). They were followed by the IBA, "Access Bank", "Unibank", "Rabit?bank" - 6 lawsuits. In "Demir Bank" and "Kapital Bank" there are 5 claims.
In "Bank of Azerbaycan", "Parabank" and "Royalbank" ASC there are 4 claim (in the case of the latter, claims against the liquidation commission). In "Bank of Baku", "Xalq Bank" and "Zaminbank" there are 3 claims. Two claims are on account of "Azer-Turk Bank", "AG Bank", "Bank VTB", "Bank Respublika", "Kredo Bank", and United Credit Bank.
On the account of "AFB Bank", "Amrahbank", "Azebaycan Senaye Bank, "Azerbaycan Credit Bank, "NBC Bank", "Nikoil", "Bank Melli Iran Baku Branch", "Turanbank", "Yapikredibank Azerbaycan" is 1 claim each.
In the rating is not included banks, which in the course of the week are not involved in the litigation.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan consumer demand for consumer loans has increased dramatically. With the exception of a small layer, all families even home appliances buy on credit.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
