Turnover of Azerbaijan and Russian Federation Reduced in Comparison with Last Year
According to the results of 2014, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia exceeded $ 4 billion, reaching a historic high, Russian Deputy Economic Development Minister Alexander Cybulski said at the VI Inter-regional Forum in Yekaterinburg.
According to him, over the past 5 years this figure has increased by more than 2 times, and the dynamics of the indicators, despite the difficulties of the world, was one of the best among all the CIS countries. "This year, the rate was slightly slackening because of objective well-known reasons," he said.
Thus, in the first half of this year, trade totaled $ 1.7 billion (minus 20% to July 1 of the previous year). However, as for the physical volume of deliveries of goods, there is an increase by more than 50%.
According to the official, Azerbaijan's trade with Russia shows remarkable diversification - a significant share in the mutual supply is for goods that do not belong to the fuel and energy complex. --17D-
