Twice Shortened Period of Issuing Tourist Visas
The period of issuing electronic visas has been shortened by half - from 10 to 5 days. This became possible with the signing of the application of the law "On amendments to the Migration Code of Azerbaijan" dated February 1, 2016 by the President of Azerbaijan.
From now on, for an electronic visa, the accredited travel company fills out the electronic application form, making scanned copies of passports, photos and documents of the person and confirming the implementation of the visit for the purpose of tourism. This can be a tourist accommodation, a travel voucher, a passenger ticket or proof of reservation of accommodation in the future location of the guest in the territory of Azerbaijan.
The visa is sent to the e-mail of the travel company that sent the document, and in case of failure the motivation is provided, the document says. --17D-
