Unibank Employee Prosecuted
The Anti -Corruption Department under the Prosecutor-General has revealed the fact of abuse of power in one of the capital of the branches of Unibank.
According to the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan, a leading expert on corporate banking branch Yasamal Mehdi Abdullayev in March this year for the mortgage loan taken from Baku resident Alicia Nazaraliev 1,300 manats , in addition, in May 2012 opened in the name of Nazaraliev line of credit for 3000 AZN and took an ATM from this account in 2000 manat than harmed the legitimate interests of the bank.
A criminal case was filed under article 308.1 (abuse of power) of the Criminal Code. The necessary investigations are conducted, the prosecutor's office noted. - 15D -
