Will AtraBank leave the banking sector?
An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders will be held at AtraBank on August 6.
As stated in the announcement of the bank, the shareholders will approve the financial statements for 2013 and, more importantly, they will discuss the issue with the bank's own capital.
As of March 31, 2014 the Bank's equity is equal to 21,391,120 manats. According to the request of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, to January 1, 2015 the minimum equity capital of banks in Azerbaijan must be equal to 50 million manat.
JSC AtraBank was created in 1991. Currently, there are 13 branches, 2 offices and 24 foreign exchange settlements. The bank has 10 branches in Baku and in three regions of the country. Its shareholders are more than 30 individuals. - 17D-

Azerbaijan’s food imports have surged to unprecedented levels, with a significant rise recorded in the first nine months of 2024, according to data from the State Customs Committee.
