Azerbaijan's Income from Oil Exports Decreased by 30% in H1
Baku/17.07.20/ Turan: Export of declared Azerbaijani oil according to the results of the first half of 2020 amounted to 15 million 343 thousand 452.45 tons.
As reported in the monthly report of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of Azerbaijan, the value of exported oil amounted to $ 5 billion 339 million 488.25 thousand.
Based on the data of the State Customs Committee, the average export price of Azerbaijani oil in January-June 2020 amounted to $ 348 per ton, or $ 47.03 per barrel. According to the results of the first half of 2019, this figure amounted to $ 484.5 per ton or $ 65.47 per barrel, i.e., in January-June 2020, the average export price of Azerbaijani oil decreased by 28.2%.
In January-June 2020, oil exports in quantitative terms decreased by 3.1% compared to the same period last year, and in monetary terms - by 30.4%.
The share of oil in the total export structure in the first half of 2020 decreased to 69.47% from 76.87% in January-June 2019. –0-
