Interests of SOCAR and Rosneft converged in Ukraine
Baku/13.05.21/Turan: The Azerbaijani Company SOCAR became the export operator of Rosneft oil products in Ukraine and signed a corresponding contract with the Russian side, reported the Ukrainian edition of “Enkorr”, which specializes in the oil products market.
"According to available information, the Swiss office of Socar Trading will be in charge of sales and communication with Ukrainian counterparties. Meanwhile, the role of the Ukrainian office of the company in the distribution and sale of volumes is not excluded,” says the statement.
This week, representatives of Socar Trading's top management visited Kiev and held negotiations with the largest counterparties of Proton Energy Group S. A., which until April of this year distributed the volumes of Rosneft in Ukraine.
It is reported that the new operator does not exclude the possibility of supplying fuel to the country in May, and states that it has a quota of more than 100 thousand tons of diesel fuel and 12 thousand tons of liquefied gas.
"However, probably market participants will start deliveries in June. According to available data, SOCAR announced a range of prices for diesel fuel to be shipped from Gomel with a differential "above $ 30 per ton." ...
SOCAR's representative office in Ukraine has been operating since 2008, and in 2010, the company began operating in the Ukrainian fuel market. –0—
