Over the year, the cost of oil production at SOCAR's fields increased by 12%

In the first half of the year, Azerbaijan sold $ 11.3 billion worth of oil and gas products on foreign markets (87.63% of the country's total exports), by 12.4% lower compared to January-June 2023.

In January-June of this year, 7 billion 444.22 mcm of associated gas were produced in the oil fields of Azerbaijan (extracted from the subsoil during oil production), by 3.1% less than in the same period last year.

“Azerenergy” OJSC replaces double-chain high-voltage overhead lines with a voltage of 110 kV in Baku, crossing roads in 5 places above the airport highway, Zykh Highway and November 8 Avenue, as well as located along the airport road, with underground cable lines.

"By 2027, we expect to produce 2 GW of green energy from renewable energy sources (RES). For such a volume, Azerbaijan needs an energy storage facility of 250 MW. We will create this repository in stages, starting in 2024," Soltanov said.
