SOCAR Receives Approval from Turkish Government Agencies to Buy EWE Gas Distribution Assets

Azerbaijan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on energy planning, within the framework of the Paris Agreement, Energy Minister of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov wrote on his social media page on November 13:

Azerbaijan's state energy company Azerenerji and GE Vernova (USA) have signed an agreement to convert one of the gas turbines at the "Djanub" power plant in Shirvan to operate on hydrogen fuel, the press-service of  Azerenerji.

During COP29, the Executive Vice President of Schneider Electric's international operations, Manish Pant, and the President of Schneider Electric for Türkiye and Central Asia, Ismail Yamangil, visited Azerenerji's pavilion on November 14.

Azerbaijan has signed several agreements with Chinese companies during COP29 aimed at developing renewable energy sources in the country, the press service of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Energy.
