Turkey discusses new gas contracts with Baku and Moscow

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the Norwegian company “Equinor” discussed the possibilities of cooperation. SOCAR reports that

On July 1,  ICGB Company (operator of the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector, IGB) will hold annual auctions to reserve the available capacities of the IGB interconnector, the press service of the pipeline company. "ICGB will hold annual auctions on the available capacities of the Greece-Bulgaria interconnector on July 1. The capacities will be offered for five consecutive gas years, while the volumes vary for different connection points: with the networks of the Bulgarian operator “Bulgartransgaz,” the Greek DEFSA and the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), respectively," the information says.

In the main gas pipelines of Azerbaijan, in January-March of this year, the volume of technical losses amounted to 14.8 mcm, by 8.6% less compared to the same period last year.

The international rating agency S&P Global Ratings has confirmed the long-term and short-term credit ratings of the issuer of “Azerenergy” JSC at the level of "BB/B" with a stable outlook. According to S&P, a favorable operating environment against the background of high electricity prices supports the financial profile of “Azerenergy.”
