Azerbaijan's consolidated budget sharply increases surplus

Receipts to the consolidated budget of Azerbaijan in 2023 amounted to AZN 50,343.6 million, and deductions from the budget AZN 40,313.8 million. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance. The report says they are up by 16.9% and down by 2.3% from forecasted, and up by 16.8% and up by 14.9% from 2022 respectively. Recall that the consolidated budget ended up with a surplus of AZN 10,029.8 million, up by 5.6 times from a year ago.-
