CBA releases results of competition with private credit bureau
In 2023, about 64.000 citizens of the country received a credit history from the centralized credit registry system of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This is stated in the CBA statement.
The report says that the number of credit reports submitted by the bank amounted to about 201.000. In other words, the citizen was interested in the credit history on average 3 times a year.
The CBA created access to credit history for physical entities exactly a year ago - on January 9 last year. Citizens can go to the newly created page of the electronic services portal in real time (http://accr-portal.e-cbar.az ) and view your credit history for free by logging in via the "Asan Login" (without limitation of the number).
With that said, the CBA entered into competition with the "Azerbaijan Credit Bureau" (the first private credit bureau in the country), created jointly by 8 commercial banks, which also provide their credit histories on a fee basis. -0-
