Liabilities of Azerbaijani banks approach 43 billion mantas

As of the end of April 2024, Azerbaijani banks had obligations in the amount of 42,897.7 million manats. This is stated in the banking review published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. According to the document, this is up by 0.7% from the end of March. Note that the bank liabilities declined by 0.5% as compared to the end of the last year, and rose by 7.9% over the past year.
