Ankara court demands to lift the blockade of the Twitter social network
Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan today received another slap, when the Administrative Court of Ankara decided to unlock the social network Twitter.
Last week Erdogan demanded to close microblog Twitter, and he praised his supporters at a rally that he closed this "twitter schmitter."
Thus, the court granted the petition of the Bar of Turkey, which was submitted immediately after the lock of the resource on March 20. The judges noted that blocking access to Twitter is “contrary to the principles of rule of law.”
In the near future the Court will announce its decision to the telecoms regulator TIB. It is expected that Twitter will be available in Turkey today. -02D-
