Putin responded to Biden's words about the risk of war between Russia and NATO
РБК: Moscow has no territorial claims to NATO countries, and therefore the warning of American President Joe Biden about the threat of a Russian attack on the alliance in the event of a victory in Ukraine is “complete nonsense,” Russian President Vladimir Putin told TV presenter Pavel Zarubin.
“It’s complete nonsense. I think President Biden understands this too. This is just a figure of speech in order to justify his erroneous policy in the Russian direction,” Putin believes.
Russia has “no reason, no interest—neither geopolitical interest, nor economic, nor political, nor military” to fight with NATO countries. “There is no desire to ruin relations with them. We are interested in developing relations. <...> Who do we have any problems with? Not with anyone. It is they who are artificially creating problems with us, because they do not want to have such a competitor in Russia. That’s all,” he assured.
