Russia attacked Ukraine with 30 Shahed-136 and Iskander-M missile
Baku/19.09.2023/Turan: In a significant escalation of hostilities, Russian military forces launched an attack on Ukraine last night employing a formidable arsenal, including 30 kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136 variety and Iskander-M ballistic missiles, according to reports from the Ukrainian Air Forces command.
The military authorities assert that the kamikaze drones were deployed from the location of Primorsko-Akhtarsk within the Krasnodar Territory. In a separate incident, an Iskander-M ballistic missile was fired from the area of temporarily occupied Crimea, directed towards Krivoy Rog.
Remarkably, Ukrainian air defense forces demonstrated their prowess by successfully intercepting and neutralizing 27 of the kamikaze drones in the southern, central, and western regions. Additionally, a reconnaissance UAV met a similar fate in the eastern theater of the conflict.
Local authorities had previously reported strikes on Lviv and Krivoy Rog, signaling an alarming escalation of tensions in the region.-0---
