President Volodymyr Zelensky swiftly announced Rustem Umerov, formerly the head of the State Property Fund, as the proposed successor. The Verkhovna Rada is poised to deliberate on Umerov's candidacy in the week ahead, as Ukraine grapples with the evolving dynamics of an embattled landscape.
