The White House has unveiled a new package of anti-Russian sanctions
Kyiv/08.05.22/UNIAN: The White House has unveiled a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.

The United States imposes sanctions against Channel One, Rossiya 1 and NTV. The sanctions prohibit American companies from advertising on them and providing them with equipment.
Restrictions will also be imposed on eight Sberbank executives and another 27 from Gazprombank. The Moscow Industrial Bank was blacklisted.
The United States will restrict the issuance of visas to the Russian military, impose sanctions against 2.6 thousand Russians and Belarusians.
In addition, Washington has banned the export of nuclear materials, industrial equipment and bulldozers to Russia.
Accounting, advertising, management and consulting services also fell under the new anti-Russian sanctions of the United States.
As UNIAN reported earlier, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced the sixth package of sanctions against Russia for the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. It also included a proposal for a phased oil embargo. The EU restrictions included, in particular, those responsible for the commission of atrocities by the Russian army in Bucha.
Subsequently, the UK Government imposed new sanctions against the Russian Federation. London announced a ban on the export of services to the Russian Federation.
