РБК: Voronezh was attacked by drones, which was repelled by air defense forces, regional governor Alexander Gusev said in a telegram channel.
“According to preliminary information, there are no casualties. A fire on a balcony in one apartment building was extinguished. Windows were broken in two more apartment complexes and a number of private houses,” he said.
The Ministry of Defense clarified that three drones were shot down in the Voronezh region in the period from 1:50 to 2:50.
As telegram channels “Caution, News” and Baza report, residents heard more than 15 explosions in the city. According to Baza, one of the apartment buildings on Teplichnaya Street was damaged. Mash reports that a fire has started there.
Shot writes that windows in a house on Ostrogozhskaya Street were also broken. Both streets are on the western outskirts of the city.
Gusev later confirmed that fragments of a downed drone fell into the apartment on Teplichnaya, and a girl born in 2013 was injured. She has cut wounds to her arm, leg and neck. The mayor of the city, Vadim Kstenin, said that the residents of the damaged house were evacuated to a nearby school, and specialists were working in the house itself. He also confirmed that four houses on Ostrogozhskaya were damaged.
The city introduced a state of emergency “for speedy decision-making.”
