Woman that Committed Shooting at YouTube Headquarters Has Iranian-Azerbaijani Origin
Baku / 04.04.18 / Turan: The woman that committed shooting at the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno (California, USA) was Nasim Najafi Agdam, an Iranian Azerbaijani and Vegan, who also conducted a video blog on YouTube, which was signed by about 5,000 people. This is reported by the News Hub website.
According to the publication, in describing her profile on YouTube, Nasim called herself Persian-Azerbaijani Vegan Bodybuilder, as well as "propagandist of a healthy and humane way of life".
She was also an animal rights activist. In particular, in 2009, the Los Angeles Times took a comment from her, in which Agdam spoke out against the use of pigs in army exercises.
Recently, the blogger complained about the actions of the YouTube administration, which, in her opinion, "filtered" her publications, which is why the woman began to receive less income.
She published the first statement of the sort in January 2017, and subsequently Nasim repeatedly opposed the policy of the video service. Currently, her channel has been removed.
The night before the attack, the police found Nasim sleeping in a car away from her house - in Santa Clara County, after her family reported her disappearance.
Nasim"s father warned the police that his daughter could go to the YouTube office because she "hated" the company. The officers communicated with Nasim, but they did not search her. After that, they contacted her family and reported that everything was in order. A few hours later, the woman staged a shooting, injuring three people, and then shot herself. -02D-
