Борис Джонсон встретился с Владимиром Зеленским в Киеве
Zelenskyy meets former UK PM Johnson in Kyiv
nv.ua: Zelenskyy met the guest near his office. The ex-PM said he was honored to visit the capital of Ukraine and greeted ministers and presidential officials.
The Presidential Office reported they had discussed practical steps Johnson could take to help Ukraine, in particular preparations for a "peace summit". The president stressed that NATO membership would be the best option for Ukraine and it's "important to actively push the idea."
Johnson was also briefed on the situation at the front line.
"Additional mobilization will not help Russia, its army is not motivated,” Zelenskyy said.
“However, we need more weapons: tanks, aircraft, long-range missiles.”
Before the meeting with Zelenskyy, Johnson visited Bucha and Borodyanka, formerly occupied Kyiv suburbs that suffered war crimes and atrocities during their occupation.

Vladimir Putin has expressed his readiness to meet with Donald Trump to discuss the conflict in Ukraine and other pressing issues, emphasizing the need to take current realities and the interests of both countries into account. However, the Russian leader noted that serious peace negotiations with Ukraine are impossible without the repeal of President Volodymyr Zelensky's 2022 decree prohibiting talks with Moscow. Putin stressed that Western countries, which provide substantial financial support to Kyiv, should persuade Zelensky to lift this ban.
