1864 mines and ammunition were cleared in the liberated territories in a month
Baku/07.05.21/Turan: From June 1 to July 3, during search operations in Terter, Agdam, Fizuli, Shushi, Gubadli, Jabrail and Zangilan regions, 1,087 antipersonnel mines, 316 anti-tank mines and 461 unexploded ammunition were found and neutralized, the Agency for Mine Clearance of the Territories of Azerbaijan (ANAMA).
During this period, 563 hectares were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance. In total, after the end of the second Karabakh war, that is, from November 10, 2020, 8,509 antipersonnel mines, 3,959 anti-tank mines and 9,493 unexploded ordnance were discovered and neutralized.
