2,178 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/02.11.21/Turan: Over the past day, 2,178 new cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been registered in Azerbaijan, 2,010 patients have recovered, 31 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on November 2.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 534,748 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in the country, including 497,363 people recovered, 7,132 have died, treatment of 30,253 active patients continues.
Over the past day, in connection with the detection of new cases of coronavirus infection, 11,889 tests were carried out.
Also, over the past day, 47,133 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 35 349, the second - 11 784 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 9,708,264, of which 5,293,969 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,414,295 people received two doses. —06D-
