30 tons of humanitarian aid sent from Baku to residents of Kiev
Baku/19.03.22/Turan: Humanitarian aid in the amount of 30 tons was sent last night by the Executive Power of Baku for the residents of Kiev.
Assistance to people affected by military operations in Ukraine has been collected by the administrations of Baku districts and residents of the capital, the city administration said.
Humanitarian aid mainly includes food and other basic necessities.
It should be noted that Baku and Kiev are sister cities.
Earlier, the Azerbaijani government sent two planes with humanitarian aid to Ukraine on February 26 and March 12 for a total of 10.5 million euros.—06B-

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that the visit of the President of Somalia to Baku "will open a new page in the close friendly relations" between the two countries. In a press statement after the negotiations, Aliyev noted that the leaders of both countries discussed the geopolitical situation in their regions and confirmed mutual support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan and Somalia, as well as a common stance in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
