45 generators - next batch of humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan delivered to Ukraine
Baku/13.01.23/Turan: On January 13, the second batch of humanitarian aid from Azerbaijan arrived in Ukraine in the form of electrical equipment.
"These are 45 powerful generators with a total cost of more than $ 450.000 dollars which was sent to the country to meet the needs of the civilian population of Ukraine in the areas most affected by the barbaric Russian airstrikes.
We sincerely thank friendly Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people for their support and assistance!" The information of the Embassy of Ukraine in Azerbaijan says.
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine, German Galushenko also expressed gratitude to the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, for the prompt response and effective, timely support.
"We are grateful for your solidarity with the people of Ukraine," he said.
According to official information, total amount of humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan due to the war in Ukraine is approaching 30 million manats.
Besides, 90 Ukrainian children who suffered from the war and lost family members underwent medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation in Azerbaijan.
Also, Azerbaijan has restored school No. 12 named after Zarifa Aliyeva, destroyed as a result of hostilities in the city of Irpen.-03D-
