About 300 people injured in fuel depot explosion were taken to hospitals in Khankendi
Bakı/26.09.23/Turan: 290 people injured in the 25 September explosion at a fuel depot on the Askeran-Khankendi road were delivered to three clinics in Khankendi and an outpatient clinic of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Khojaly. They received burns of varying severity, the separatist regime's health structure reported.
The lives of seven patients could not be saved and they died in hospital. Dozens of patients affected by the blast are still in critical condition. 13 unidentified bodies were handed over to the "Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination". Many people who received burns as a result of the explosion are considered missing.
Azerbaijan allowed medical aid from Armenia to be delivered through its airspace.
Thus, a team of doctors with necessary medicines and medical supplies travelled to Khankendi this morning by helicopter, which will take some of the patients to Yerevan. -06В-
