Activist of NIDA Movement is arrested for 10 days
An activist of the NIDA Youth Movement, Mehman Zametdinov, was arrested today by the police and taken to the Khatai District Court, who arrested him for 10 days, according to Elmin Badalov, the spokesman of NIDA.
It is not known for what Zametdinov is charged, but friends believe that he had been arrested for participation in yesterday's rally of solidarity with the protesters in Turkey.
Currently seven activists of NIDA are under arrested for criminal charges. Amnesty International recognized them “prisoners of conscience.”—16B06-
