Adil Aliyev has been appointed head of Surakhani district
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, by today’s order, has dismissed Aziz Azizov from the post of head of the Executive Authority of the Surakhani district of Baku. By another order, the head of state appointed Adil Aliyev, who held the post of Deputy speaker of the Milli Majlis of the 6th convocation, to this position. This means that Aliyev will not run for parliament, since working in the executive branch is incompatible with participation in the legislature.
By another presidential decree, Sahir Mammadhanov was appointed to the vacant post of head of the Executive Power of the Gusar region.
