ADR stands up for protesters in Iran
Baku/27.09.22/Turan: The Party of Democracy and Welfare (ADR) of the Republic of Azerbaijan called on human rights activists, free press, independent civil society and political parties not to remain indifferent to the civil protests taking place in Iran caused by the murder of a young woman Mahsa Amin.
The statement released by the ADR notes that for more than 40 years the existing political regime in Iran has been pursuing a discriminatory, assimilation policy towards our compatriots in South Azerbaijan, which was clearly demonstrated during the latest protests. "The Iranian regime continues arrests and killings of our compatriots, who in recent days have come out to protest under the slogan 'Freedom, Justice, National Government' demanding to ensure human rights and freedoms."
The ADR party declares that it will fight for the rights of brothers and sisters in South Azerbaijan, and bring to the international community the appeal of compatriots "Freedom, Justice, National Government".
The party called on the political regime in Iran to respect human rights and freedoms, to stop the policy of national discrimination and assimilation in South Azerbaijan, and also demanded to stop killing people.—0—
