Aliyev and Bono discussed the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia
Baku/03.08.23/Turan: On August 3, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the chief adviser of the US State Department on negotiations in the Caucasus, Luis Bono.
According to the site of the head of state, during the conversation, an exchange of views took place on the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the negotiation process on a peace treaty.
Aliyev "continued the exchange of views on issues raised during a recent telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken."
The President reaffirmed the determination of the Azerbaijani side to continue the peace process and expressed hope that "in the near future, results will be achieved with Armenia in key areas discussed during the negotiations."—06B-
