Baku/21.09.23/Turan: On September 20, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey engaged in a telephone conversation with President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

In the course of this significant exchange, both leaders deliberated on the successful culmination of localized counterterrorism measures and the crucial disarmament efforts targeting illegal armed groups in Azerbaijan's Karabakh region.

During the conversation, it was reaffirmed by both heads of state that Azerbaijan and Turkey stand in unwavering solidarity with one another, further underscoring their deep-rooted alliance.

In addition to the matters directly related to their collaborative efforts in the Karabakh region, Presidents Aliyev and Erdogan explored a range of subjects of mutual interest.
