An Armenian source claims that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces occupied not 50 square kilometers, but much more territory
Baku/15.09.22/Turan: The Armenian analytical website "Hayaliq" (Armenian Wave) published an investigation into the results of the hostilities on September 12-14.
This resource claims that, as a result of these battles, Azerbaijani troops have made significant progress in the Gegharkunik region.
Referring to data from open sources, the authors of the material claim that in various areas the enemy advanced from 4.5 to 8 km deep into the territory of Armenia.
In particular, the heights of Akhpradzor, Chermakakara (2747.8 m), Ukhtasar (2851 m) and the height of 2484 m, which is 700 m from the village of Verin Shorzha, are occupied. In the direction of the village of Norabak, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces occupied a height of 2338, which is 2 km from this village.
Taking into account the territory occupied by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in 2021, the Armenians lost 150 sq. km of territory, the investigation says.
The day before, Prime Minister Pashinyan announced the loss of 50 square kilometers of territory during this period.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan previously reported on the occupation of strategic heights during the battles on September 12-13. --02B--
