Another 90 mines neutralized in Lachin
Baku/21.09.22/Turan: During mine clearance operations in the Lachin region, in the area of the Mt.Boyuk Ishygly, on September 20, another 90 anti-personnel mines of the E-001 M type, produced in Armenia in 2021, were discovered and neutralized.
This was reported today by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. Engineering and sapper units of the Azerbaijani army continue their activities to clean up the territories mined by the enemy.
It ought be noted that this is the fourth minefield laid by the Armenian side after the end of the Second Karabakh War. So, 118 mines were found on September 17, 122 mines on September 18, and 100 mines on September 19. -06B-

During the ongoing COP29 climate conference in Baku on November 14, a group of activists staged a protest condemning Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The activists also denounced countries that supply oil and weapons to nations waging aggressive wars. The protest featured placards with slogans such as: "From fossil fuels to peace!", "End war crimes!", "Punish the aggressor!", and "Phase out fossil fuel use to achieve peace!" among others.
