Baku/05.05.21/Turan: The next batch of demining machinery and equipment purchased from Turkey has arrived in Azerbaijan. It will be used by Azerbaijani Armed Forces engineering units on highways, villages, farmland fields, and other areas that have been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense's press service.

On February 3, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan annulled the results of the municipal elections held on January 29 at six polling stations. In particular, the voting results were declared invalid due to violations identified at polling stations NN: 42, 43, 44, 45, 46 in the 81st Imishli constituency.

The opposition party “Musavat” has demanded the release of all political prisoners and stated that the authorities are responsible for their health conditions, it was announced at a meeting of the party's Executive Board (Divan) on Monday. “Musavat” expressed concern over reports of health problems among many political prisoners, including civil society activists Anar Mamedli and Alekser Mamedli.

The consideration of the lawsuit filed by Hafiz Babaly, the editor of the economics department at Turan news agency, against the online publication Qafqazinfo.az, is being unjustifiably delayed. Babaly had been arrested in connection with the Abzas Media case.
