Anti-Azerbaijan Book Published in Moscow
The Moscow publishing house Key-C issued the first volume of an Aris Azizyan’s book entitled Polygon Azerbaijan: Politico-cultural Studies.
In the summary the publication refers to "modeling of the Azerbaijani nation and the example of the transformation of the Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi".
“The essence of this "work" is to prove that the Azerbaijanis as a nation are an artificial phenomenon, as the Azerbaijani statehood is, and to create a false opinion about Azerbaijan.
This is extremely harmful, anti-scientific and anti-Azerbaijani issue. It is strange that such work was published in Moscow, " a well-known historian and head of the National Council Jamil Hasanli told Turan.
"Hopefully, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and other state agencies will take the necessary measures for non-admission of publication of the second volume of this work by Azizyan. As far as I know, the Russian legislation does not allow the publication and distribution of literature promoting ethnic strife, ethnic exclusivity and racial superiority," said the historian. -02B-
