Armenia and Azerbaijan have to agree themselves - Russian ambassador to Yerevan
Baku/11.06.19/Turan: Russia is against the escalation in Karabakh, but the last word in the settlement of the parties to the conflict, said on Tuesday at a press conference in Yerevan the Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin.
"We need a balanced approach to the role of Russia. Our task is to assist in the mechanisms that we have as a co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, as a strategic ally. To say that everything depends on Russia is wrong," the Armenian media quotes the diplomat.
The Lragir publication does not hide irritation that the Russian ambassador is actually moving away from the questions posed earlier by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Thus, in an interview with "Echo of Moscow", he stated, "all Armenians and everyone in Armenia are sure that Russia has all the means to prevent a new escalation in our region and keep Azerbaijan from attacking Armenia and Karabakh."
He further noted, "He cannot believe that Russia does not use its capabilities to prevent a war."
Russia has the necessary levers to prevent escalation, Pashinyan said in Yerevan at a meeting with representatives of the Russian media on June 5, 2019.
Lragir regards the words of the Russian ambassador as an attempt to "relieve Moscow of responsibility for the probable aggravation". -02D-

The court records from the trial of Teymur Kerimov, the head of the YouTube channel Kanal-11, were falsified, the declaration distributed by Kerimov's colleagues. “The court documents are distorted. They misrepresented the testimony of citizens. For instance, the victim Leila Almaszadeh stated in court that she had no complaints against me. In court, she said, “Teymur did not ask me for money and did not receive any money from me.” However, the court protocol states that she is complaining about me and demands the removal of illegally recorded videos,” writes Kerimov.
